It is important to realize that this "Dress Code" does not cover all the expectations, or requirements for proper attire. This is a guide to help parents and players understand that the FEBA program has strict rules regarding how players present
themselves both on, and off, the field of play.
1)
The team uniform will be correctly worn at all times. Players will arrive at games, practices, the field and all departure
points, either fully dressed in uniform, or will not have any portion of the uniform on. No other team garments can be worn
with a current team's uniform (I.E. Solano Garbage sweatshirt cannot be worn with Expos uniform). The exception is that
black, white, or gray FEBA jackets and/or sweatshirts are allowed to be worn with any FEBA team uniform.
a.
Uniform jersey tails will always be tucked in, including before and after games.
b.
Uniform will always be clean, mended and wrinkle free prior to games and/or practices.
c.
Uniform will never be defaced, or have any additions sewn to it, stuck to it, or marked on it.
d.
Uniform pant legs will always be pulled down to ankles, but never on, or below heel
e.
Uniform undergarments will always be black (sleeves, turtlenecks, mock turtlenecks, socks etc;).
2)
Team baseball caps are never worn skewed, crooked, backwards, inside out, or in any fashion that would show disrespect
for the uniform, team, coaching staff, sponsor, or FEBA. The bill of the cap
will not be worn flat, it will be properly
molded with a curve. There will be nothing attached to, or placed on, the baseball cap, such as stickers, pins, markings etc;
3)
Players cannot be in uniform (Outdoors) without wearing a team cap, batting helmet, or catching helmet.
4)
Batting helmets will always be kept clean and polished. The logo will never be removed, or defaced in any fashion.
5)
Batting helmets are required whenever batting against live pitching, machine pitching, or while in the batting cages.
6)
Footwear will always be clean and polished. Footwear must be black in color, unless approved by team manager.
7)
None of the following items are allowed on a player's person at any time while in uniform, while at a FEBA event, while
traveling to and from team/FEBA events, or while under the supervision of any FEBA coach, or official.
a.
Drugs, or drug paraphernalia
b.
Tobacco, imitation tobacco products, or tobacco paraphernalia
